Ann was born in the Republic of Georgia on November
8th, 1985. She started playing chess at the age of 7 together
with her brother, Zviad Izoria, who now is a strong GM (Grand Master).
Ann has a WFM (Woman Fide Master) title, her Fide rating is 2151, USCF
rating - 2129.
Ann attended Tbilisi State University in Georgia,
where she got Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations in June 2006.
Right after her graduation she came to USA and settled in Brooklyn, NY.
She speaks English, Russian and Georgian languages.
Ann has been teaching chess to children of
different ages and levels for 5 years and working with them brings her a
lot of joy. Her hobbies are traveling, swimming, photography, tennis.
